This kitchen came to life through a thoughtful collaboration with KCK Bearsville :: every detail was considered!

Together, we created a refined, eclectic space with a few surprises tucked away — including a pantry with pocket doors that flip in for a coffee nook and a pivot hinged pantry door that leads to a second prep area and wine storage. It’s the hidden details that make this kitchen truly exceptional.

This home is currently on the market! 🤩 @upstatewithsheena

One thing I love to include in a kitchen layout is a dedicated space for a morning ritual.
Whether it’s a ‘coffee bar’, a ‘tea hutch’ or a ‘breakfast nook’ depends entirely on you, but whatever you prefer to enjoy, please enjoy it in style! ☕️🫖🧋🥯

The range area is a great place to add DRAMA to your kitchen! Here we found a gorgeous lilac marble from BAS Stone (scroll to end for full slab image) and planned out the cuts to perfectly place the natural flourish between the range top and the hood.

If there ever was a time to share a BEFORE-and-AFTER photo comparison, this is it.
A complete transformation of the original kitchen was particularly important for these new homeowners, who value cooking as an art and a joy. We needed to modernize the functionality and create a welcome environment for entertaining. Sage cabinetry and lilac marble paired with the texture of a leathered granite countertop create a palette that is at once airy and earthy. We enlarged the footprint to make room for a large island with seating and a sizable pantry. We moved the structural cross beam up into the ceiling to unify the kitchen and dining room and replaced the window with a MUCH larger one so the natural setting can be better appreciated from inside. What a difference it has all made! Photography by @philmansfieldphotography

The Cold Brook project I’ve been working on for KCK Bearsville for over a year is complete and looks 🙌 🤩

A special feature of this kitchen design is an integrated door that leads to a secondary prep area and wine refrigerator.
